- The Courtyard

The courtyard: featuring original locally quarried stone walls and archways
leading to three bedrooms, (one double, two twin) and bathrooms. A stone
staircase leads to an open-arched corridor overlooking the courtyard, with
doorways to kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining rooms and lounge. The
courtyard is bathed in sun and hosts a variety of brightly coloured
Mediterranean trees and plants, an ideal spot for a pre-dinner aperitif. |

Bedroom one (twin):
A vaulted room built out of original stone with an attractive tiled floor.
The immense thickness of the walls retains a pleasant heat throughout the
summer, but fans are to hand if a cooler temperature is preferred. The room
looks out onto the courtyard and has a further window to the front. A
doorway leads across the corridor to a very large arched bathroom with walk
in shower, wash basin and w.c.
This bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, stone wall
niches and subtle lighting, creating a cosy atmosphere. The very large iron
bed is the centre- piece and soft drapes at the window compliment the tiled
flooring. Double doors lead onto the open courtyard and second bathroom with
shower wash basin and w. c. |

- The Outside Dining area

Breakfast on the open-air dining terrace, under a bamboo roof is a very
pleasant way to start each day. Italian floor tiles and matching stone tiled
table with comfortable dining chairs, sets the scene for the morning chat
about the day ahead. The view from here is across arable farm terraces with
church domes in the distance. A short stairway leads to the sun terrace,
offering further dining facilities, sun loungers, parasol and panoramic
views across the island. |
